Previous Machine Operator experience beneficial, but training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the line runs smoothly and report any issues to the person responsible for running the line
- Complete production daily paperwork and electronic data accurately
- Suggestions and support on improvements to procedures and processes
- Ensure that all checks related to food safety and CCPs are carried out as required by procedures
- Assist the person responsible for running the line to set up and ensure it is ready for production as per the planning schedule
- Ensure the right packaging and film matches each production run
- Ensure good housekeeping of tools, machinery & film and surrounding areas
- Monitor machine performance and report any anomalies to your Area Leader
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must be prepared to work in chilled environment, full PPE is provided
- Basic spoken English and have the ability to follow verbal instructions and commands
- At Level 1 and above
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication
- Working knowledge of Food Safety Level 2, training might be required with translator
- HACCP L2 awareness
