Summary
At Pilea Homecare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a young male service User in Burton-Upon Humber. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own home.
This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.
About the Client
Our client benefits from structured routines, reassurance and support both at home . A carer who is calm, friendly , patient and confident working independently will thrive in this role.
Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

What the Role Involves
- Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home
- Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
- Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
- Communicating effectively with the clinical team, care, coordination teams, the service user and service user's family.

Responsibilities
' Deliver high-quality personal and clinical care tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and the service user's family to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Uphold the company’s values of providing quality care with respect, empathy, and integrity in all interactions.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in complex healthcare support.'
Qualifications'
Proven experience in patient or senior care; experience with complex conditions such as Epilepsy is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic life support (First Aid) certification is desirable.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving and handling
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols.
- Commitment to providing person-centered support aligned with company values.'
