Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation
- Oversee food production, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and quality ingredients
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and professional development
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with industry standards
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
