Job Description
Alroy Microwave is a family run business, spanning 60 Years. We are looking for an Mechanical Technician/Bench fitter to join our team. We are a manufacturer of mechanical products using base materials mainly Aluminium, Copper and Brass. We are involved in the manufacturing of Microwave and RF products for the Defense, Aerospace and Telecoms industry. We have our own machine shop and also technicians on the bench manufacturing products using a variety of methods and hand tools. We are looking for a mechanically minded individual to join or team.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will be required to assemble waveguide components in accordance with technical mechanical drawings for which, full training will be provided. As skill levels and confidence increase there is scope for the job role to develop and expand into other areas of the manufacturing process.
You must be confident in the use of hand and bench tools (Files, pillar drill, measuring equipment etc.)
Experience working in a manufacturing /production environment advantageous but not essential
Good understanding of basic math and in particular trigonometry
Have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a desire to learn new skills
The successful applicant will receive full on the job training
