The Roles
Alum Beach Hut is a new restaurant, bar and take away on the beach front at Alum Chine (near Branksome and Westbourne)
We are looking for waiting staff, barstaff and runners to support the team as we will be very busy over the summer. Roles are available for full and part timers
The roles are available from now until mid September and include basic pay and a share of the service charge - basic pay is National Min Wage for your age group plus service charge which will be approx another £2-3 per hour
MUST BE OVER 18 to work on the bar but runners can be 17 or post GCSE when you start
We are right on the beach and so get very busy when the sun shines especially at weekends. Those with previous experience can work on the bar or the floor. Those without any experience will start as food runners, bar backs (support) or in the take away. Full training will be given
Excellent communication skills, a calm approach and a passion for delicious food are a must and as part of a brilliant team you will be expected to support each other by always being on time and smiling!
Responsibilities
Runners deliver food and drink, Bar and waiting staff liaise directly with the customers and supervisors need experience with leading a team
Experience
Relevant experience with fresh food, business development and high volume businesses is a bonus
