Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring all goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately.
- Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team to achieve high performance.
- Plan and coordinate workloads to meet delivery and installation schedules.
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded safely, accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Monitor warehouse cleanliness and ensure work areas remain organised and safe.
- Enforce Health & Safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Carry out regular equipment and warehouse inspections.
- Manage goods-in and goods-out processes, checking deliveries for damage or shortages.
- Liaise closely with the Operations, Scheduling and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee waste management and recycling procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct staff training, performance reviews and return-to-work meetings where required.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
- Ensure all warehouse documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a warehouse or logistics environment with a focus on team leadership.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Forklift license Ideal
- Drivers Licence Essential
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
