Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant who has strong IT skills relating to depot adminsitration to join our team and support daily operations within our busy warehouse environment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking logistics company that values efficiency, safety, and quality. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth stock handling, shipping, receiving, and overall warehouse management.
This role is fixed term to the 31st December 2026
Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks to support the warehouse staff - printing and processing of labels and documentation.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
- Prepare orders by picking, packing, and stocking items accurately for dispatch or storage
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace to promote safety and operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in picking & packing tasks
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and effectively during stock movement
