Pay Rate: £13.00/hr (Days) | £13.54/hr (Nights) + financial bonuses for short-notice cover which increases the hourly rate (up to £17.33 depending on notice given)

About the Role
An empathetic, energetic, and dedicated Carer is required to join a supportive care team providing 2:1 high-quality support to a gentleman living in his own home in Hartlepool. He is non-verbal, and we are looking for someone who can bring a bubbly, positive presence to his day while maintaining a high standard of professional care.
This role involves working closely alongside another colleague to support all aspects of daily living, maintaining his bungalow and assisting with outdoor activities such as local walks and trips out.

Shift Patterns
We are offering two contract options to suit your availability:
Option 1: Mixed Pattern – Primarily day shifts with occasional night cover.
Option 2: Permanent Nights – Waking night shifts only.
Either part time or full time hours are considered.
Shift Timings:
Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12 hours) or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10 hours) depending on the days schedule
Waking Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12 hours)

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality personal care tailored to individual needs.
- Assisting with safe moving and handling procedures.
- Accompanying the gentleman on walks and access to the wider community.
- Providing meaningful companionship and working closely with another carer on a 2:1 ratio.
- Respecting and working effectively within a family home environment.
