Cargowise is a growing, independent family-run business looking for a reliable and organised Bookkeeper / Business Support Manager to join our friendly team.
This is not a role where you’ll be just another number. You’ll become a key part of the business, working closely with the Director and helping keep everything running smoothly.
We are open to full-time or part-time hours and can offer flexibility around family commitments, appointments or other responsibilities for the right person. We are also open to base location whether you would like remote working or based in Andover office or Ferndown office.
About the role
You’ll take ownership of a varied role including:
Bookkeeping & Accounts
· Managing bookkeeping within Xero
· Maintaining accurate financial records
· Managing purchase and sales ledgers
· Processing invoices and supporting payment tracking
· Assisting with credit control and maintaining healthy cash flow
Office Management & Business Support
· Being the friendly first point of contact for customers and suppliers
· Managing the company inbox and day-to-day correspondence
· Keeping office processes organised and efficient
· Supporting the Director with administration and business activities
· Helping improve how the business operates as it continues to grow
About you
You’ll ideally be someone who:
· Has solid bookkeeping experience and is confident using Xero
· Enjoys working independently and taking ownership
· Is organised, dependable and detail-focused
· Has excellent communication skills
· Can confidently manage competing priorities
· Takes pride in doing a job well
This could suit someone who is:

What we offer
· £40,000–£45,000 salary depending on experience
