We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Production Operative to join our day shift team (Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm). In this hands-on role, you will support in the Manufacturing and filling of our repair materials and coatings, ensuring products are manufactured to high quality standards and delivered on time. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving, and being part of a fast paced environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality guidelines.
- Carry out basic equipment checks and report faults or maintenance requirements.
- Manufacture products according to specifications.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Support continuous improvement activities, including process, quality, and safety initiatives.
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- A clean basic Criminal Record Check and 5 year traceable employment/education background check
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Basic numeracy and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
- Forklift (Reach) licence
