Want a care role where your day could include a pub trip, community outing or activities in beautiful premium venues? Enjoy sociable weekday hours, performance bonuses and a genuinely enjoyable alternative to traditional day care.
About Rainbow Care Group
The Rainbow Care Group is an award-winning dementia day care provider with established day clubs across the UK. Our approach is built around person-centred care, meaningful activity, social connection and helping people living with dementia enjoy purposeful, engaging days in welcoming community environments.
As we expand into Greater Manchester and Cheshire, we are now looking for Dementia Day Club Care Workers to join our growing team and help deliver our new local day clubs.
The role
As a Dementia Day Club Care Worker, you will support the delivery of our local dementia day clubs.
This is not a traditional care home environment - our clubs are designed to feel social, engaging and activity-led, where members enjoy companionship, structured activities and meaningful experiences that improve wellbeing and quality of life.
Your day could be spent in a beautiful 5-star golf club in Cheshire, a Grade II listed hotel, or another high-quality venue designed to feel calm, welcoming and social. The next day you could be supporting a group trip to the pub to watch the football, helping with community outings, or assisting with structured activities in a relaxed and social setting.
Everything is built around what the group wants to do - your role is to support members throughout the day, take part in activities, encourage engagement, and help ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you are actively involved with members throughout the day, not stuck in a clinical or task-driven environment.
What we’re looking for
- Warm, patient and naturally engaging with people
- Good communication skills with staff, members and families
- Ability to support group activities and encourage participation
- Reliable, organised and team-focused
- Right to work in the UK + Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete)
What you’ll get
- Sociable hours: 10:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- No weekends or evening work
- 2-3 shifts per week (flexible)
- A genuinely enjoyable, social working environment in premium venues
- The opportunity to take part in real experiences - including pub visits, day trips and community activities
- Strong opportunity to increase pay as you develop within the organisation
- Full support from an established, award-winning organisation
- Birthday vouchers and team reward schemes
- Ongoing training and development
Progression
This is a growing region, and we are investing heavily in expansion.
There is a clear pathway for progression into:
- Senior Care Worker roles
- Deputy / Supervisor positions
We are actively looking for people who want to build a long-term career with us, not just a job.
As you grow in responsibility, there is also strong opportunity to increase earnings through promotion and performance-based progression.
Pay: £13.50-£13.75 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week
Work Location: In person
