About Us:
The Merry Monk is a popular independent bar and carvery restaurant located in Monkton Heathfield on the outskirts of Taunton. Known locally for our famous carvery, alongside a varied menu of classic pub dishes and quality steak meals. With a welcoming atmosphere, friendly team, and strong reputation for quality food and service.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the hospitatily sector with a good understanding of restaurant operations within a high volume setting.
Skills
- Previous front of house experience within hospitality (required)
- Strong communication and proven customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Professional and friendly attitude to customers and team members
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
