We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Advisor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and coordinate emergency response efforts in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Prepare comprehensive report writing on safety performance, incidents, audits, and compliance activities for management review.
- Facilitate SHEQ training sessions for employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support management in maintaining certification standards and ensuring ongoing compliance with environmental regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in safety management, environmental practices, or quality assurance within a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, standards, and best practices applicable to the industry.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues behind incidents or non-conformities.
- First aid certification to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
- Ability to perform thorough risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections confidently.
- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and promote a culture of safety and quality.
