You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 on a combination of early and late shifts. Must be flexible to cover weekends on rota (early shift is 7.45am until 3:00pm and late shift is 2:45pm until 10:00pm). Half an hour unpaid break allowed and free meal provided on duty.
Approx. 35 hours per week Some flexibility in completing more hours when covering holidays/sickness is required.
*Ensuring all guests are welcomed upon arrival, taking charge of check-in and check-out procedures and creating a welcoming, relaxing first and lasting impression.
*Dealing with any guest queries or complaints during their stay, seeking advice or assistance from the Duty Manager where required.
*Responding to reservation queries smoothly and efficiently, building a rapport with guests from the first point of contact.
*Building a strong rapport with guests quickly and using sales skills to push revenue.
*Responsibility for the Front Office float and recording all necessary transactions, meeting compliance and legal expectations.
*Preparing all bills and accounts for departing guests and continuing to maintain an excellent customer service experience for each guest.
Experience required:-
*Previous hotel reception experience preferred.
*Working knowledge of computerised booking system and third party booking agents preferred.
