Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services (Ofsted)
£65,000 + Bonus | Chester | Permanent
A senior leadership opportunity has become available for an experienced Registered Manager who is ready to broaden their remit and step into a more strategic, multi‑site role.

The Role at a Glance
You will take the lead in:
- Registering and launching a new home
- Establishing a high‑quality therapeutic environment from the outset
- Supporting leadership and operational development across a second home
- Driving quality, safeguarding and regulatory excellence
- Building and developing high‑performing teams
- Leading Ofsted preparation and inspection activity
- Contributing to wider organisational growth and service improvement
This is a role with genuine influence, shaping a new service while gaining operational exposure across multiple homes.
The Homes & Therapeutic Approach
The new home is situated in a quiet rural setting, offering a stable and nurturing environment for children and young people with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- ADHD
- Learning Disabilities
- Additional or complex needs
The focus is on emotional regulation, structured support, independence building and long‑term positive outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a confident, experienced leader with:
- At least five years’ experience as a Registered Manager
- Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
- A history of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted results
- Strong understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
- Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, LD and complex needs
- Excellent safeguarding, leadership and team‑development skills
- Full UK driving licence and UK Right to Work
