This is a hands-on role. You’ll be working alongside the team, dealing with customers, making decisions and making sure the venue is safe, organised and ready for whatever the night brings.
If you’ve worked in busy pubs, bars or late-night venues and you’re ready for more responsibility, we’d like to hear from you.

- Ensuring Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service procedures are followed
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health & safety
- Completing relevant fire safety, COSHH and hygiene checks
- Supporting cellar management, line cleaning and keg changes
- Assisting with stocktakes, stock control and wastage recording
- Helping make sure the venue is properly stocked and prepared for busy nights and weekends
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 6 months’ supervisory or management experience, ideally more
- Is comfortable taking responsibility for a venue and team
- Leads from the front and is happy to get stuck in
- Stays calm and makes sensible decisions under pressure
- Is confident dealing with difficult customers and busy crowds
- Understands licensing and responsible alcohol service
- Is reliable, organised and proactive
- Notices what needs doing and gets on with it
- Can work late nights, weekends and busy event periods
- Works well as part of a close-knit team
Experience with EPOS systems, cellar management, keg changes, gas systems, line cleaning and stock control would be a strong advantage.
Previous experience working in Bristol’s late-night hospitality scene would also be useful, but it isn’t essential.
What We Offer
- £13.50–£14.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Performance-based monthly bonus opportunities
- 28 days’ holiday
- Rotas published in advance
- Generous staff discounts
- Guest-list access to selected gigs and events at sister venues
- Opportunities to progress into more senior management positions
- A supportive, independent working environment where good people are trusted to do their jobs
Who This Role Suits
This role would suit someone who enjoys busy venues, works well under pressure and takes pride in running a good shift.
You need to be dependable, confident with people and capable of taking ownership when you’re the person in charge.
We want someone who can keep standards high, support the team and make sure customers have a good night without losing control of the operation behind the scenes.
