Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, high-quality care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early social interaction
- Maintain accurate records of each child's developmental progress and daily routines
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's needs, milestones, and daily experiences
- Lead and supervise junior staff or assistants in delivering consistent care standards
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations
- Support team collaboration by sharing insights on individual children's progress and behavior
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Deep understanding of childcare principles, early childhood education practices, and infant development
- Ability to foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and learning
- Valid driving license (nice-to-have) for transportation needs or home visits if required
- Passionate about childcare with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional growth

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
