Job Summary
The Bedford Swan Hotel, located right on the Great Ouse river and is one of Bedford’s landmark hotels – a busy 137 bedroom hotel with thermal spa, high-end brasserie, afternoon tea room and a thriving C&B department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic F&B Team Member who enjoys delivering excellent hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Someone who is passionate about service, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the day-to-day operation of our food and beverage outlets including our Brasserie Pen and Cob and our function spaces, delivering friendly and professional service to guests, taking food and drink orders, serving meals and beverages, preparing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout service. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, dinner, events, and bar service while ensuring our high standards are consistently met.
What you will bring to the team:
You will ideally have previous experience working within a restaurant, bar, café, or hospitality environment, although full training can be provided for the right candidate. You will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for delivering excellent hospitality to our guests.
