Hours: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:00pm–8:00pm (Essential)
About MC 121 Football Coaching
MC 121 Football Coaching is one of Suffolk's leading player development programmes, delivering over 180 individual coaching sessions every week.
We specialise in structured 1-to-1 and small group coaching, helping players improve their technical ability, confidence and match-day performance through modern coaching methods including video analysis, whiteboard learning and individual player targets.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic football coach to join our coaching team on a long-term basis.
Availability
Applicants must be available to work:
- Every Tuesday – 5:00pm to 8:00pm
- Every Thursday – 5:00pm to 8:00pm
These hours are essential for the role.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be currently studying towards, or have completed, a recognised Post-16 Sport or Sports Coaching qualification (College, Sixth Form or equivalent).
- Have experience playing football at a good competitive standard (academy, scholarship or high-level grassroots preferred).
- Have a genuine passion for football coaching and player development.
- Be reliable, punctual and professional.
- Be confident communicating with both children and parents.
- Be eager to learn, accept feedback and continually develop as a coach.
- Be looking for a long-term coaching opportunity.
Previous coaching experience is beneficial but is not essential for the right applicant.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality 1-to-1 and small group football coaching sessions.
- Supporting players with their technical development.
- Creating enjoyable, energetic and engaging coaching sessions.
- Using coaching tools such as whiteboards and video analysis.
- Building positive relationships with players and parents.
- Maintaining the high coaching standards expected within MC 121 Football Coaching.
