Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or setup as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and positive feedback
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including processing payments and giving change
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service flow and a lively atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Strong guest service orientation with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A genuine passion for delivering memorable dining experiences and working as part of a dynamic team
