Digital Content & Ecommerce Coordinator

Based in Melksham, Wiltshire
Nicholas H Wood is a specialist sculpture studio producing handmade sculptures in plaster. We make all of our casts in our workshop - an old bank in Melksham. We also have a showroom in Bath.
We're looking for someone creative, organised and proactive to help grow our online presence and improve our ecommerce platforms.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys marketing, photography, ecommerce and creating content, and wants to become an important part of a growing creative business.
Your Responsibilities
Your role will include:
- Improving Shopify, Ebay and Etsy product listings.
- Uploading new listings .
- Creating Instagram posts, stories and reels.
- Writing and sending email newsletters.
- Assisting with Meta advertising.
- Basic SEO improvements.
- Product photography.
- Editing photographs and short videos/reels.
- Monitoring website performance and helping improve conversion rates.
- Helping launch new products online.
You will work closely with the Creative Director (Nick), who will guide priorities and help shape the marketing strategy.
We're not looking for years of experience.
Instead we're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised.
- Creative with a good visual eye.
- A strong written communicator.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Interested in marketing and ecommerce.
- Willing to take ownership of projects.
- Keen to learn and improve.
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial but isn't essential:
- Shopify
- Canva
- Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop
- Meta Ads
- Instagram
- Mailchimp or Klaviyo
- Photography
- Basic SEO
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude who genuinely cares about producing high-quality work and wants to help build a unique British sculpture business.
