Overview
S A Logistics are actively recruiting Class 2 Multi Drop Delivery Drivers. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering pallets throughout the SA Post Codes for our Pallet Networks.
We are open to discuss Part time applications.
Bonus Scheme of earning an extra £1300 per year
No Breaks Deducted.
This role requires excellent geographic knowledge of the SA Post Codes, North & West of the county in particular SA14 - 73.
Duties
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload pallets for tailift deliveries with an electric pump trunk, curbside deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered during transit.
- Communicate effectively with transport planners and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local and national regulations regarding transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Deliver pallets using electric pump truck and tail lift to customer addresses and business addresses
Weekly bonus given if duties are completed.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
- Ability to operate various types of lorries and equipment related to loading/unloading Pallets.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading/unloading goods and long hours on the road.
