Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:00–16:00, Friday 07:00–12:00

We are a well-established, close-knit company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality, customer-specific sensors used across a wide range of industries and applications.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and organised Stores & Operations Assistant to join our team in Chedburgh.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining stores, dispatch, administration, and customer support responsibilities. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a supportive manufacturing environment.
The Role
As part of our team, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of stores, goods-in, dispatch, and order administration processes. You will work closely with production and office staff to keep operations running efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Booking in deliveries and checking goods received
- Maintaining stores and stock areas to a high standard
- Picking orders and preparing materials for production
- Preparing invoices and dispatching customer orders
- Entering customer orders into the system accurately
- Communicating with customers regarding orders and deliveries
- Supporting production activities when required
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable, and willing to learn. Previous experience in a stores, production, warehouse, or administrative role would be beneficial, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
You should have:
- Good attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and confidence using systems
- Strong communication skills
- A positive and flexible attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
