Job Summary
EZ Rocks Construction Materials & Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Materials Manager to oversee construction materials, procurement, supplier relationships, quality standards, inventory, and operational performance.
The successful candidate will help ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of construction materials while supporting engineering and construction projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and supply of construction and engineering materials
- Oversee materials planning, inventory, storage, and distribution
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, purchasing terms, and supply agreements
- Monitor material costs, availability, quality, and delivery performance
- Coordinate material requirements with construction and engineering teams
- Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement planning, and cost control
- Maintain appropriate quality and materials documentation
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve supply efficiency
- Prepare purchasing, inventory, supplier, and performance reports
Requirements
- Experience in construction materials, procurement, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
- Experience working with suppliers, contractors, or construction teams
- Good understanding of construction materials and purchasing processes
- Strong negotiation, organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Good commercial awareness and cost-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers, projects, and priorities
- Familiarity with inventory, procurement, ERP, or materials-management systems is advantageous
- Relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience is preferred
