Job Summary
This position is MONDAY - SATURDAY
We are seeking a reliable and professional Parcel Delivery & Collection Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for organising, delivering, and collecting parcels from designated retail stores using a 3.5-tonne van. The role involves route preparation at the depot, multi-stop driving, and customer-facing service, so strong organisation, communication, and driving skills are essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- You will start around 9am and sweep on your way into the depot
- Arrive at the depot and prepare your route, sorting and organising parcels into clearly labelled sacks for each store.
- Safely operate a 3.5T van, following all traffic laws and company safety procedures at all times.
- Plan and complete your delivery route efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Deliver parcels to stores professionally, ensuring all items are accounted for and delivered accurately.
- Collect outgoing parcels, returns, or store collections and bring them back to the depot.
- Load and unload parcels, including safe handling of heavier items where required.
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records, obtaining all required signatures and documentation.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks (oil, tyres, lights) and report defects promptly.
- Communicate clearly with the depot team and stores regarding ETAs, issues, or delays.
- Adhere to company health and safety procedures throughout all duties.
Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role.
- A valid UK driving licence suitable for operating a 3.5-tonne van, with a good driving record.
- Previous warehouse or parcel-handling experience is an advantage, particularly in sorting or organising parcels.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional attitude.
- Excellent route-planning and time-management abilities.
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving parcels throughout the shift.

Pay: £80.00-£120.00 per day
