Start Time: Flexible start between 6:30am and 7:30am
Rate of Pay: £14.06 per hour

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Stock & Logistics Officer to join our Packhouse & Logistics team at Flavourfresh Salads limited (Aldergrove Centre, PR9 8DX).
This is an administrative role within a busy manufacturing and packhouse environment, supporting the day-to-day stock and logistics operation. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock and operational records, supporting logistics activities, processing documentation and providing accurate information to the wider team.
The role would suit someone with strong administration and Excel skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has an interest in stock, logistics and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records and process stock movements for Flavourfresh and third-party customers.
- Provide administrative support for inbound, outbound and inter-site logistics activities.
- Coordinate and record deliveries, vehicle movements and related documentation.
- Process and check production, packing and stock paperwork.
- Maintain accurate operational data and prepare routine reports using Microsoft Excel and other systems.
- Liaise with internal teams, drivers, customers, suppliers and transport providers to resolve routine queries.
- Identify and escalate stock, logistics or documentation discrepancies.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Packhouse & Logistics Team.
- Provide appropriate low-level absence cover for routine matters when required.
The Person
You will be organised, reliable and detail-focused, with the ability to work accurately in a busy manufacturing and logistics environment.
You will have:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a manufacturing, production, packhouse, warehouse or logistics environment.
- Good written, spoken and reading English.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and data-handling skills.
- An understanding of stock, logistics or production processes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and resolve routine queries.
- A flexible and positive approach to changing operational requirements.
