Associate Dentist – Orchard House Dental Practice, Beckenham
Orchard House Dental Practice in Beckenham, Kent is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our friendly and supportive team.
This position is for Mondays (9:00am-5:00pm) and Tuesdays (9:00am–6:00pm), with clear potential to expand for the right candidate as demand grows.
We are a predominantly private practice with an excellent local reputation, providing comprehensive general, preventative and cosmetic dentistry in a welcoming, family-focused environment. The successful candidate will take on a mainly private list, with a small shared NHS commitment primarily focused on children.
This role is best suited to a clinician who is confident in private dentistry and comfortable treatment planning in a predominantly private setting.
About the Role
You will:
- Provide high-quality general dentistry to a loyal and appreciative patient base
- Work predominantly with private patients, with limited NHS activity mainly for children
- Confidently present and deliver private treatment options
- Have scope to develop private treatments and grow your clinical interests
- Be supported by experienced nurses, reception team and hygiene services
- Contribute to our preventative, ethical and patient-centred approach

About You
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in general practice
- Have demonstrable experience working in a private or predominantly private setting
- Are confident discussing and delivering private treatment plans
- Are GDC registered with an active Performer Number
- Maintain high clinical standards with a calm, professional chairside manner
- Communicate clearly, ethically and effectively with patients
- Ambitious, patient-focused, and keen to grow within a long-standing, respected practice
