Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment, delivering excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong organisational skills, and a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including sanitising surfaces and glassware
- Restock supplies and ensure the bar is well organised at all times
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and safety
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards in all aspects of work
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the venue
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve customers promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- A personable nature with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
