Overview
We are seeking a qualified CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder to join our team on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of scaffolding procedures, safety standards, and have experience working at height in demanding environments. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to safe and efficient scaffolding operations across the site. Applicants must hold a valid CISRS Part 2 certification and demonstrate a commitment to health and safety protocols. Experience in related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or construction painting is highly desirable, alongside skills with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
Duties
- Erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Inspecting scaffolding for stability and safety before use and during operations
- Ensuring all scaffolding components are correctly assembled using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Assisting with the safe movement of materials and equipment on-site
- Collaborating with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, or masons to facilitate smooth workflow
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to prevent hazards
- Adhering strictly to health and safety standards at all times during scaffold installation and dismantling processes
Experience
- Valid CISRS Part 2 Scaffold Certification is essential
- Proven experience in scaffolding within the construction industry or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in scaffold assembly
- Knowledge of construction painting, plumbing, welding, electrical systems or other trades is advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience working at height and understanding of safety protocols for working on elevated structures
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications accurately
Desirable
- HGV licence.
- COTS or SSSTS qualification.
- Confined Space, IPAF, or PASMA certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
