About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Product Manager to join a growing team based in Ilford. This is an opportunity for a product professional who enjoys turning customer needs, market insight and business objectives into well-defined products and measurable outcomes.
You will be responsible for supporting the product lifecycle from discovery and planning through to delivery, launch and ongoing optimisation. Working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders, you will help establish priorities, manage the product roadmap and ensure that development activity remains aligned with customer and business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and communicated.
- Gather customer, user and stakeholder feedback to identify product opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support product strategy and decision-making.
- Translate customer and business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with design, technology, operations, sales and other relevant teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prioritise features and initiatives based on customer value, business impact, resources and delivery considerations.
- Coordinate product development activities and monitor progress against agreed objectives.
- Support product launches, including planning, documentation, stakeholder communication and post-launch review.
- Analyse product performance and relevant business metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Monitor customer feedback and product issues, ensuring appropriate actions are identified and followed through.
- Present product updates, recommendations and performance insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to longer-term product strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear and accurate product documentation and processes.
About you
The successful candidate will have experience in product management or a closely related role and be comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in product management, product ownership or a similar position.
- Strong understanding of product development and lifecycle management.
- Experience creating and managing product roadmaps and priorities.
- Ability to gather, assess and translate customer requirements into actionable product improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Confidence working with a range of internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A practical, customer-focused and commercially aware approach.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum or similar delivery methodologies is desirable.
- Experience using product analytics, customer research or other data to inform decisions is desirable.
