We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser / Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in a role combining prescription dispensing, prescription processing, pharmacy administration, patient records and healthcare coordination.
This is an office-based pharmacy role rather than a traditional high-street/community pharmacy counter position.
You will work closely with patients, clinics, healthcare professionals and internal teams to ensure prescriptions and patient orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Be DoingPharmacy & Dispensing
- Accurately dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Process and prepare prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy procedures
- Complete accurate prescription data entry
- Check prescription and patient information carefully
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the dispensary
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal pharmacy processes
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and patient safety
- Assist with stock control, inventory management and pharmacy stock processes
- Identify and escalate prescription or patient-related queries appropriately
Administration & Healthcare Coordination
- Process prescription orders and coordinate patient medication requirements
- Communicate professionally with patients, clinics and healthcare professionals
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth prescription and order processing
- Manage patient and prescription documentation
- Complete accurate data entry and administrative tasks
- Maintain electronic and paper records where required
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook for tracking, reporting and communication
- Support healthcare administration and pharmacy coordination
- Assist with managing workflow and prioritising incoming work
- Ensure information is recorded accurately and handled confidentially
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with genuine UK pharmacy dispensing experience who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and patient service.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' UK pharmacy dispensing experience
- NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent – essential
- Previous experience working within a UK pharmacy
- Good understanding of pharmacy dispensing and prescription processing
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using digital systems
- Experience with data entry, patient records or pharmacy systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise tasks
- Professional and patient-focused approach
- Existing right to work in the UK – essential
