Café Cook / Kitchen Team Member
Brew Brothers – Lake District
36–40 hours per week | 5 days | Daytime hours only | No evenings
Brew Brothers is looking for a new member of our kitchen team following the departure of our current cook.
Over the past four months we've made some big changes to the way we work, simplified our menu and focused on what we do best — serving consistently great café food in a busy but friendly environment.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cooking, takes pride in what they produce and works well as part of a small team.
The role will involve preparing and cooking breakfasts, brunches and lunches, along with homemade bakes, specials and general kitchen preparation.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a professional kitchen
- Enjoys cooking and takes pride in their food
- Can work efficiently and calmly during busy service
- Is organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining a clean kitchen
- Works well as part of a small team
- Is happy to contribute ideas and get involved
We're less concerned about job titles and more interested in finding someone who is a really good cook with the right attitude.
What we offer:
- 36–40 hours per week
- 5-day working week
- Daytime hours – no evenings
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Pension
- Staff discount
- Other staff benefits
- A friendly, supportive working environment
- The opportunity to have genuine input into our food offering
If you're an experienced cook looking for a role with good hours, a positive working environment and the opportunity to be part of a changing and growing café, we'd love to hear from you.
To apply, please send your CV and a brief introduction telling us a little about yourself and your kitchen experience.
