About Constantine Football Club
Constantine Football Club is a growing grassroots football club focused on long-term player development.
We provide structured football training and competitive opportunities for young players, with a focus on developing players technically, tactically, physically, psychologically and socially.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Goalkeeper Coach to join our growing coaching team and support the development of our young goalkeepers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate goalkeeper sessions.
- Develop goalkeepers' technical abilities, including shot-stopping, handling, positioning and distribution.
- Support goalkeepers' decision-making, communication and confidence.
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor individual player development.
- Work alongside the wider coaching team to integrate goalkeeper development into the club's playing philosophy.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for coaches who:
- Are passionate about goalkeeper development and youth football.
- Have a strong understanding of the goalkeeper's role within the modern game.
- Can communicate effectively with children and young people.
- Are reliable, punctual and professional.
- Can create and deliver engaging training sessions.
- Are comfortable working with different ages and ability levels.
- Are willing to learn and develop as a coach.
- Can work effectively as part of a coaching team.
- Understand that player development is more important than simply winning.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum:
- FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football or equivalent.
- FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
- FA First Aid in Football or equivalent.
- Valid DBS suitable for working with children, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Goalkeeper-specific coaching qualification.
- UEFA C Licence or above.
- Previous grassroots, academy or youth goalkeeper coaching experience.
- Experience working with different goalkeeper age groups.
