Core Responsibilities
- Carpentry & Fabric Works: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive call-outs, and carpentry-focused commercial repairs.
- Team Supervision: Coordinate sub-contractors and other engineers on site to ensure jobs stay on schedule.
- Safety, Admin & Quoting: Complete RAMS, dynamic risk assessments, smartphone job reports, material ordering, and site assessments for quotes.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Trade experience in carpentry and the commercial fabric sector.
- Background Check: Must pass an Enhanced DBS check (no unspent criminal convictions).
- Skills: Competent with power/hand tools, basic IT skills (smartphone apps), solid Health & Safety knowledge, and client-facing communication skills.
- (Desirable: PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, or Manual Handling certifications).
