We have an opening for a specialist MSK physio to join our practice from mid September. Available hours are as follows: Tuesday 1-6pm, Wednesday 12-8, Thursday 8.30-1.30 (with afternoons available every second week), Friday 8.30-6 (Friday is essential plus at least one of the other shifts). Pay for the first 6 months probationary period is £250 per 8 hour shift, (Lunchtimes unpaid, a max of two 30 minute admin breaks paid per 8 hours). ON successful completion of probation period the standard rate is £51 per contact hour.
You will join a team of 10 other physios with a minimum of 10 years‘ postgraduate experience, most with masters level postgraduate education, in a friendly, well equipped and interactive practice. There will be some work within a local company, 10 minute walk from the main practice. The right fit for us will be someone with empathy, good communication skills and a good team member. A good cultural fit is as important to us as the education and training, but both are essential.
The job is open to applications from those with at least 5 years’ postgraduate experience in MSK outpatient physiotherapy (not 5 years including other areas of practice) and evidence of continued learning. Shortlisting will favour those with more experience and experience within private practice in London, particularly the corporate environment. Private practice experience is essential, UK experience is essential and you must be able to work autonomously. English as a native speaker also important, as is the ability to use electronic notes and appointment systems. This is not open for a sponsored role.
Barbican physio is a stand alone practice situated in Moorgate with 5 treatment rooms, a Pilates studio and rehab gym. We also work within 3 different companies to provide services on site. This position requires flexibility across two of the sites (1 corporate a 10-15 minute walk from the main practice).
Patient caseload is a mix of Barbican residents, the local business community and company employees.
Please note: this role is a senior physiotherapist role, not a first contact practitioner or advanced practice (injecting / prescribing) role. Applicants should already be based in the UK.
Pay: £250.00 per day
