We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to shipping, receiving, materials handling and delivery driving . This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Update stocks errors.
· Create and delete default stock locations
· Highlight and investigate any job card problems
· Report any errors on Work orders, to the team leader.
· Good housekeeping tasks within the Warehouse areas, keeping them clean and tidy.
· Operate all equipment in a safe manner, reporting any dangerous occurrences.
· Use our stock control system “Progress Plus” to record stock movements, in and out of the stores
· Issue parts and components to job cards
· Adhere to company operating policies and procedures
Other Responsibilities:
· Assisting in other areas of the stores, and dispatch as required.

Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Engage in picking and packing orders for dispatch, ensuring that items are correctly labelled and securely packaged.
- Operate warehouse management systems, including AS400, to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Utilise forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely, following operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and support overall warehouse operations.
Experience
- 1 years' previous experience in a warehouse environment is desired.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is advantageous.
- Experience with materials handling techniques is desirable.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- A valid forklift licence is an asset but can be obtained through training provided by the company.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery will be considered a plus.
- A full Driver's licence is a must as driving will be required.

Hours of work are 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime and some weekend cover required on occasions.
