If so, we are offering you a fantastic opportunity to join us at one of the UK’s largest suppliers to the stove, flue and candle-making industries, supporting our office teams in a variety of ways.
We are seeking someone who can demonstrate a genuine desire to provide strong and consistent customer satisfaction both pre- and post-sales, and who will thrive in a flexible, supporting role be it providing technical information and advice to our customers or resolving after sales enquiries.
This is a full-time office-based position and full training will be provided in relation to the products and services offered along with customer service systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with our customers via telephone and email.
- Supporting the sales team with inbound sales enquiries.
- Resolving after-sales enquiries to support the customer service team.
- Obtaining a satisfactory level of candle, stove and flue product knowledge through in-house training.
- Associated admin using Microsoft Office and internal database.
- Consistently answering a high volume of inbound calls and emails during our busier winter season.
Skills
- Positive and flexible approach to job role switching between pre- and post-sales duties seamlessly.
- Experience of call handling, sales processing and customer complaint resolution.
- Familiarity with online retail platforms (websites, eBay and Amazon).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook essential.
- Ability to absorb technical information and new processes efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks based on initiative.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy in everything you undertake.
This office based role is 40hrs per week working Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Please note, annual leave is not permitted during our busy winter period Oct-Dec.
Pay: £27,870.00 per year
