Take a leap in your career and join our growing Pet Food business in the heart of Staffordshire. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to support the efficient running of Eden’s logistics operations as we continue our next phase of growth.
You will play a key role in ensuring orders are processed, stock is managed accurately, and warehouse standards are maintained at all times. Full training and support will be provided.
This will include, but not be restricted to, the following responsibilities:
- Receiving and unloading deliveries, checking goods against delivery notes and inspecting for discrepancies
- Organising and storing stock correctly, maintaining tidy and safe storage areas
- Picking and packing orders accurately using manual and digital systems
- Preparing and dispatching orders for courier collection, ensuring deadlines are met
- Completing stock checks and cycle counts, reporting shortages or overages
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting stock availability
- Operating scanners and WMS systems (as trained)
- Maintaining general warehouse cleanliness and highlighting damaged stock or hazards
- Following company Health & Safety procedures, including PPE and safe handling practices
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
- Supporting the set-up and breakdown of our stand at shows and events. Flexibility is important, as some events may take place over weekends. Advance notice will always be provided when event support is required.
Preferred skills required for the role:
- Ability to adapt and learn new IT systems
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to build positive working relationships
- Previous warehouse or WMS experience desirable
Mandatory skills required for the role:
- Hold a Full & Valid UK Driving License
