Role Overview
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide dedicated support within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact to assist and support public-facing teams, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, communication, and working collaboratively to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support to teams, addressing enquiries and resolving issues related to operational activities.
- Assist in coordinating communication between different departments to promote seamless workflows and accurate information sharing.
- Support the management of schedules, bookings, and administrative tasks necessary to maintain daily functions.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and service providers as required, ensuring relevant agreements are maintained and updated.
- Collaborate with colleagues to gather feedback and identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced service quality.
- Maintain clear and accurate records, reports, and documentation to support efficient management practices.
- Contribute to team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and aligned with organisational objectives.
Required Qualifications
Must-have:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Good organisational abilities, including time management and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using standard office software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a calm and approachable manner when handling enquiries or challenges.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in a customer service or business support role within the hospitality or retail sectors.
- Familiarity with administrative systems and processes related to event coordination or venue support.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety guidelines relevant to public venues.
- Additional language skills to support diverse communication needs.
