Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible PCV (Public Commercial Vehicle) Bus Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate passenger buses according to scheduled routes and timetables, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the bus, checking mechanical systems, brakes, lights, and safety equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, fare collection, and answering questions politely
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs during shifts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using clear English to coordinate routes and report issues promptly
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting mechanical concerns for timely repairs
- Ensure passenger safety at all times by enforcing safety rules and managing passenger behavior professionally
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and assist with maintenance or repairs when necessary
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver with a valid driver’s license suitable for bus operation
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with <PERSON> driver standards or similar certifications
- Effective communication skills in English for interacting with passengers and team members clearly and confidently
- Knowledge of bus safety protocols, traffic laws, and route navigation techniques
- Ability to handle routine maintenance checks and minor repairs confidently
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in previous driving roles

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
