- Monday to Friday 8-6 job
- New sites planned
- Really great kitted out production kitchen with the best equipment
- Not a super admin heavy so mostly being hands on!
- Would suit an organised sous looking for better wlb
- You'll get really solid on boarding and training with the owner with butchery, production schedules, ordering etc so you’ll be set up to do well.
This role is managing the production for an independent restaurant brand in Borough, you’ll be in charge of the production unit and ensuring you're sending out the best food possible to their site. They are looking for someone who has a real eye for detail - lots of planning, testing and research has gone into the food so it’s v. important that it’s consistent and is so good that it keeps people coming back for more (you can definitely have a bash at this yourself too!).
The ingredients are really exciting here, loads of amazing flavours and spices to have fun with, you've got to be keen to be hands on and have experience in kitchens prepping, making and delivering food. The production kitchen runs a very smooth operation so you'll be naturally organised and will be liaising with the site HC and GM daily to manage the schedule. An experienced manager would be great for the role and you’ll get loads of 1 on 1 time with the owner to show you the ropes. If you've got experience in butchery it's a huge bonus!
The site in Borough is BUSY, but its really delicious and delivers every time so ensuring the production kitchen is in safe hands is key to the operation. You’ve got to be positive and a real people manager. It’s a very small but very driven team keeping a good environment and atmosphere is important and you’ve really got to be up for working in a production kitchen. You can absolutely have creativity here, if you’ve got ideas for new dishes they’d be so up for you getting involved in that.
