The Role
We are seeking a professional, personable, and highly organised Receptionist to join our reception team.
As the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors, you will play a key role in shaping the experience of everyone who enters the Club.
The successful candidate will provide a warm welcome, manage enquiries efficiently, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception area while maintaining the Club's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome members, guests, and visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently and accurately.
- Handle member and guest room bookings, dining room reservations and general requests.
- Maintain accurate records and update Club systems as required.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Receive and distribute mail, messages, and deliveries.
- Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and general office support.
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation and professionalism within the reception area.
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling member information.
- Support the wider team in delivering an exceptional member experience.
About You
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, guest services is essential.
- Experience within a private members' club, luxury hotel, or hospitality environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
- Able to remain calm and efficient when managing multiple priorities.
- A positive, proactive approach and commitment to outstanding customer service.
