We are a small, friendly local factory in Farnborough looking for a reliable Factory Operative to join our team.
About the job:
This is a hands-on, active factory role involving repetitive production work. You will generally be on your feet and moving around during your shift, handling materials and carrying out the same production processes repeatedly.
Duties can include:
- Operating simple production machinery
- Feeding, removing and handling materials
- Assembling and finishing products
- Carrying out basic quality checks
- Packing and moving finished products/materials
- General factory duties
Some of the work can be physical and repetitive, so applicants should be comfortable with an active working environment.
No previous factory experience is required – full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with practical, repetitive work
- Happy working as part of a small team
- Able to follow instructions and work accurately
- Willing to learn and get stuck in
We are ideally looking for someone who can offer regular, consistent availability, but we can be very flexible on which days and how many hours are worked, as long as the hours fall between 9:00am and 3:00pm on weekdays.
This could be a few regular hours each day, certain days each week, or more regular Monday–Friday work depending on your availability and our workload.
We are also happy to consider temporary applicants, including those looking for work during school or college holidays.
Contract: Zero-hours contract with regular work available.
