You will work solely in the MSK physiotherapy specialism and we will begin your journey toward MSK specialisation within our department at Hereford County Hospital.
The department supports several of our band 6 MSK rotations and our MCATS clinicians. You will also be allocates an MSK mentor and participate in the preceptorship programme at the trust. Your main duties will include the MSK assessment and treatment of a range of patients from primary and secondary care. Your workload will be varied and include some 1:1 sessions and involvement with some group activities. You will have an MSK mentor and will set your own learning objectives alongside those required as we develop the rotation.
You will also have an opportunity to shadow the MSK clinical specialists and an MSK career pathway leading to band 6 and 7 rotational opportunities within the organisation including post graduate course funding . There is no on call or 7 day working required in this role.
