We are a small residential care home (max of 24 beds) in Marston Magna, nr Yeovil and we support older people who live with care needs including dementia.
We would like a fantastic Domestic Assistant to join our small team. We are looking for someone that really wants to make a difference to the lives of our older ladies and gentlemen.
Experience working as a Domestic in a care setting is preferred, however more importantly we are looking for an individual who shows the following characteristics : friendly, hardworking, can adapt to ensure the Residents are supported in the way in which they require, reliable and understanding.
The role will include general domestic cleaning tasks to ensure the home maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control . Uniforms will be provided.
The shift patterns are 9am-1pm (timing can be negotiated for the right person) and you would be required to work alternate weekends. 16 contracted hours per week. An hourly pay enhancement is paid for any hours worked at weekends.
We work in the Resident's HOME, they do not live in our workplace. The Residents are the most important people in Fir Villa and we all work together to ensure our ladies and gents live their best lives in a beautiful environment.

Our rate of pay is competitive and our home is lively and friendly.
