Overview
Sutton Rose Care Home are looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff. As our Maintenance Person, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the building, responding to repair requests, and ensuring all facilities are in excellent working order. Your role will be key in helping us deliver a high standard of care through a well-maintained home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Ensure the care home is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify areas needing attention.
- Collaborate with the management team to address maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
