The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Site & Warehouse Operative based in Farnham. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering £13.45 per hour plus holiday pay, working 37.5 hours per week.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining grounds maintenance, site housekeeping and warehouse duties. You will work both indoors and outdoors, supporting the wider team with yard maintenance, waste handling, pallet movement and Counterbalance Forklift duties.
This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable with manual handling and is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out weeding and general grounds maintenance
- Sweep and maintain a clean and tidy yard
- Clear and bale waste materials
- Unblock and clean tanks
- Complete general site housekeeping duties
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Load and unload vehicles
- Move and stack pallets safely
- Carry out general warehouse duties
- Support the warehouse team as required
Requirements
- Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
- Comfortable working both outdoors and in a warehouse environment
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling
- Reliable, hardworking and proactive
- Able to work as part of a team
- Confident using your own initiative
- Flexible to work between 6:45am and 6:00pm as required
