We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client's reputable dealership in Southend-on-Sea.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high standards of vehicle repair and maintenance, contributing to a busy and dynamic workshop team.
Benefits:
- Starting salary of £32,000 per annum, with potential increases upon completing manufacturer qualifications
- Opportunity to progress to Senior Vehicle Technician roles earning up to £41,000 basic salary
- Uncapped bonus scheme, with average additional earnings of £10,000 to £12,000 annually
- Monday to Friday working week, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis

Duties:
- Conduct high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair work in line with manufacturer standards
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify wear, damage, or necessary repairs
- Provide accurate technical advice and explanations to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate effectively with the workshop team and service reception to ensure efficient workshop operations
- Support colleagues with complex repairs and share technical knowledge to foster a cohesive team
- Maintain detailed service records and complete all tasks within designated timeframes
- Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced automotive workshop environment
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle systems
- Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering quality workmanship and exceeding customer expectations
