Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Wentworth Rest Homes. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident health to nursing staff.
- Support residents with mobility and transportation needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in SENIOR CARER IS ESSENTIAL
- PROFICIENT IN PAPER WORK/RECORD KEEPING
- PROFICIENT IN MEDICATION AUDIT
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and families.
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
