The Warehouse & Logistics Operator role operates within a modern, automated corrugated packaging manufacturing environment. The position is responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics activities to ensure the efficient movement of materials and finished goods across the site.The role focuses on goods receipt, material supply to production, stock control, and dispatch activities, ensuring alignment with production requirements. The post holder will work within a fast-paced environment where organisation, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards are essential.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receive and process incoming deliveries in line with site procedures
· Move materials across the site to support production flow
· Supply machines with required materials in line with production demand
· Handle finished goods and prepare them for dispatch
· Load, secure, and support outbound deliveries in a safe and efficient manner
· Operate forklift trucks and associated equipment where trained and authorised
· Support end-of-line production operations when required (e.g. palletising and strapping)
· Maintain accurate stock and location control
· Ensure warehouse and logistics areas are clean, organised, and safe
· Follow all Health & Safety procedures and policies at all times
· Work alongside automated systems, including internal material handling systems
· Develop and maintain a working knowledge of internal production control systems
SCOPE OF POSITION
The post holder will be expected to work the hours required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role within a shift-based production environment and will be remunerated accordingly for the hours worked.The role does not have line management responsibility.
LOCATION
This position is located at Ellesmere Port and may require occasional travel to other sites where necessary.

· Experience within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
